What colors should the parents wear at my wedding?
Ok so its a really small wedding and our colors are Red and Turquoise i will have a white dress with a turquoise corset and turquoise ribbon on my viel, he will waer a white tux and a red vest (our fav colors!) my maid of honor will have a lite turquoise dress and the best mad will where black jean or slacks and a red shirt. (like i said it is a very small wedding) so what color should his mom wear and my mom and dad? should i put her in a lite red outfit and my parents in lite blue outfits? im starting to think this was a bad color choice but i want to use those colors so bad? what shoudl i do?
i was thiknking what if i had my and my fiance in red and the bridal party in turquoise, and the parents in red? and the reseption in turquoise?
the whole reason im asking is because i have to buy my fiances mothers outfit and my mother asked what colors id like them to wear.
I think the colors will look great together....but I think you are making it a little too busy. I would stick with the bridal party in turquoise since your dress has it on it, and use red flowers and accessories. I personally do not like men in white suits so I would use the traditional and give him a tie/vest to match your dress, and a red flower as well. You could have the grooms men wear red ties, but I would still stick with matching the bridal party. I wouldn't worry about your parents matching you can give them flowers that will coordinate with the bridal party if you want. But I think the key is to make sure you, your FH and your bridal party are all cohesive.
Edit** I just read your addition to the question and I would say rather then jumping around with all the colors. Use one as the base and use the other as the accent, you can flip it for the reception if you would like it a bit different. It will coordinate a lot better, be more pleasing on the eye.
