Blue Corset
I have a blue/green corset with lace and need some costume ideas to go with it?
I don't want the costume to be too revealing, but still would like the corset to be included somehow because I think it'd be cool to sport at my friend's Halloween party.
Some kind of mermaid, siren or naiad maybe? You could do blue green eye makeup and get strips of blue/green silk or tulle and clip them in your hair. Find a mermaid cut skirt to go with it.

Ideally he should be able to pick out something that goes well on his own.
Keeping advice fairly basic I'd reccomend a black tux and a vest tie combo that matches the right blue, or fuscia (this color would be harder to find the right color/ pattern in a vest). I would recommend against the a white tux w/ fuscia route, too much lighter colors going on. No contrast.
Crisp White tuxedo shirt. Euro tie (bowtie if fits personality) 1-2 button Notch jacket. Silver hardware.
Keep with the formal look or prom and wear patent leather tuxedo shoes. Please, stick away from dumb things that don't go, like fitted hats, high top sneakers, ect. If you wan accessorize to look "fly" or whatever there's plenty of more formal ways to do it.
